In the third phase of construction, lane restrictions continue, but transit buses resume accessing the Downtown Transit Terminal.

As of Monday, August 24, 2020, Simcoe Street between George and Aylmer will be in its third phase of the repaving project. During the first two phases -- which began August 4 -- saw lane shifts, and access to the Downtown Transit Terminal was restricted.
During the third phase, Peterborough Transit will resume servicing the Downtown Tramsit Terminal, however, GO Transit buses will continue to service the temporary stop on Aylmer, south of Simcoe during this time. Lane shifts are expected to continue until late September -- when the construction project is estimated to be complete.
