Tuesday Afternoon Crash in Peterborough Leaves Multiple People in Hospital

The intersection of Aylmer Street and Perry Street were closed for several hours due to a three-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon around 12:30 p.m.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of a three-vehicle collision on Aylmer Street and Perry Street at around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

One vehicle rolled over on its side, resulting in the driver having to be extracted from his vehicle. An SUV also rolled over, however the driver was sent to hospital as a precautionary measure. The third vehicle, a car, ended up on a nearby property. The woman driving the car did not sustain any injuries.

By 5:00 p.m. the same day, the intersection re-opened to traffic.

Peterborough Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
